About this file

This document is a Single Source Advertisement issued by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for the procurement of annual security software licenses for campus Apple devices. The solicitation, identified as SS-26-026, will be open from August 22, 2025, to September 15, 2025, seeking to acquire JAMF Pro software licenses for device management and security. The intended procurement is for fiscal year 2025-2026, with an estimated not-to-exceed budget of $8,000.00.

The solicitation is specifically for JAMF Software, LLC's proprietary Jamf Pro software, which is exclusively developed for Apple device management. FSDB has determined JAMF as a sole source provider due to the software's unique capabilities in device provisioning, app management, inventory collection, and device security. The notice emphasizes that this is not a competitive solicitation but a statutorily mandated advertisement of an intended single-source procurement, allowing potential vendors 15 business days to challenge FSDB's sole source determination. The primary contact for any questions is Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, who can be reached at whitwamk@fsdbk12.org.
