About this file

This document is a Single Source Advertisement issued by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) for a proprietary Honeywell digital video monitoring equipment system maintenance service agreement. The procurement is for a five-year contract with an estimated not-to-exceed amount of $200,000, covering electrical equipment maintenance, security software maintenance, and surveillance system monitoring. The advertisement period runs from April 21, 2025, to May 12, 2025, and is not a competitive solicitation but a notice of intended single source contract under Florida Statutes.

The justification for the single source procurement is based on the existing Honeywell Access Control (EBI) and Video Management system (DVM) being proprietary products that can only be serviced by Honeywell-trained technicians. Honeywell International, Inc. / Honeywell Building Solutions (located at 9440 Phillips Highway, Suite 4, Jacksonville, FL 32256) is the intended source, as they are the sole provider with factory-trained personnel certified to modify, work on, and support the specific system components. The agency invites potential vendors who believe they can fulfill the procurement to submit information during the fifteen business day advertising period, with the final determination of procurement remaining at the agency's discretion.
