About this file

This document is a Proposer's General Questionnaire for the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) related to a furniture rental services contract for student housing. The university seeks to establish a contract with multiple vendors to provide furniture rental solutions for its 2,543 unfurnished on-campus housing units. The contract term is two years with options for two additional one-year renewals, and the objective is to offer students convenient and affordable furniture rental services for academic terms or annual periods. All rental agreements will be directly between students and the selected rental companies.

The questionnaire requires detailed proposer information including company profile, financial stability, experience, qualifications, service capabilities, and references. Proposers must provide comprehensive details such as years in business, number of employees, annual revenue, contact information, emergency response times, and at least three references from similar past projects, with a preference for government entity experience. The document emphasizes the need for proposers to demonstrate their ability to service UTD campus locations, provide 24-hour emergency coverage, and outline any potential challenges in meeting the university's requirements. The proposal process involves thorough documentation of the proposer's corporate background, key personnel qualifications, and potential additional services beyond the core rental offering.
