About this file

This is an Evaluation Criteria document for the Massachusetts Department of Marine Fisheries (MADMF) procurement of Commercial and For-Hire Vessel Support Services to aid in research activities. The contract seeks to establish a list of qualified vendors providing commercial and for-hire fishing vessel support services for year-round research and monitoring efforts in Commonwealth coastal waters. These services will be utilized on an as-needed basis to support MADMF field research operations. All contractor responses must satisfy the submission requirements outlined in the Request for Response (RFR), with only responsive proposals meeting these requirements advancing to evaluation, scoring, and ranking by the evaluation team according to the specified evaluation criteria. Additional information may be requested from respondents during the evaluation process.

The document does not contain specific details regarding pricing terms, set-asides, contract duration, renewal options, funding amounts, or other financial particulars. The establishment of this qualified vendor list will allow MADMF to procure vessel support services flexibly as research needs arise throughout the year, rather than committing to fixed quantities or service schedules upfront.
