About this file
This document is an Addendum to DCF ITB 2425 027, a solicitation issued by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the Northeast Florida State Hospital (NEFSH) Life Safety Project #33020500. The project involves utility and infrastructure modifications to bring dedicated fire supply lines from the existing water main loop to the designated building fire riser rooms for multiple buildings at NEFSH. The Addendum revises the Standard Contract, Bid Sheet, and Timeline, including a mandatory pre-bid conference on August 12, 2024, a response due date of September 6, 2024, and an anticipated contract effective date of September 24, 2024.
The Base Bid includes architectural, site civil, and mechanical work, with Alternate bid items for additional work in various buildings. The buildings will need to be empty during the work, with only one floor of multi-story buildings available at a time. The Addendum also clarifies responses to vendor questions regarding the mechanical work in occupied buildings and the potential for replacing sinks.
