About this file
This document is Attachment E to a federal contract opportunity, which contains three vehicle damage scenarios for which the offeror is requested to provide pricing in accordance with their established estimation system.
Scenario 1 describes a communications vehicle that lost power and required engine replacement, either with a readily available replacement or one that would allow the vehicle to continue on its mission. Scenario 2 involves a mobile communications office vehicle that lost power due to a broken serpentine belt, which was repaired roadside. Scenario 3 describes a mobile communications office vehicle that would not start, requiring a battery replacement. Scenario 4 outlines an ABS light issue on a Dodge 3500 truck, which required replacement of the ABS ECU.
The related federal contract opportunity is for FEMA's Disaster Emergency Communications Division to acquire nationwide fleet repair and recovery services, including 24/7 roadside assistance, towing, tire replacement, and major repairs. This is a 100% small business set-aside with a 5-year period of performance and an anticipated single-award IDIQ contract.
