About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying document required for federal contracts, grants, loans, and cooperative agreements, applicable to the Del Rio Freshman Cafeteria Dining Furniture Project under Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) in Texas. The certification confirms that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officers, employees of Congress, or Members of Congress in connection with the awarding of this federal contract or any modification thereof. The document establishes the requirement that all sub awards at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub grants, must include identical certification language and that all sub recipients must certify and disclose accordingly.
The certification constitutes a material representation of fact required under section 1352, title 31, U.S. Code, with substantial penalties for non-compliance. Any person or entity failing to file the required certification is subject to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. The document requires execution by a company's authorized representative with printed name, signature, and date, and must be submitted as a prerequisite to entering into the transaction for the cafeteria dining furniture project.
