About this file
The document is an Affidavit of Joint Venture form from the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, designed for businesses seeking to submit a collaborative proposal for a city contract. The form provides a structured framework for multiple companies to declare their intent to work together as a joint venture, with spaces for detailing each party's role, ownership percentage, and minority/women-owned business status. The form requires comprehensive information about each participating company, including contact details, and mandates the submission of a detailed joint venture agreement that specifies capital contributions, work item distributions, and personnel commitments.
The City of Little Rock encourages minority and women-owned business partnerships, as defined by specific Arkansas state acts. The joint venture form requires parties to provide transparency about their business structure, including ownership percentages, roles in the venture, and any third-party certifications. The document emphasizes the importance of accurate reporting, warning that material misrepresentations could result in contract termination and potential legal action. Parties must also commit to providing updated information throughout the project and allowing audits by city or federal representatives, ensuring ongoing accountability and compliance.
