About this file

This is Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Proposals issued by the Maryland Environmental Service for the Statewide Used Oil and Antifreeze Collection and Recycling program. The addendum modifies the original contract documents and requires all prospective offerors to acknowledge receipt of the addendum on their Bid/Proposal Affidavit and include any cost impacts in their proposals. The contract opportunity involves collecting, processing, and recycling used motor oil, used oil filters, and used antifreeze materials throughout the State of Maryland. The proposal due date is May 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

In response to offeror inquiries regarding whether multiple contractors would be awarded given the scope of 150 collection locations statewide, the Maryland Environmental Service clarified that only one vendor will be selected for award of the contract. All prospective offerors must acknowledge receipt of this addendum as part of the contract documents upon which the final contract will be based.
