About this file

This file contains procurement portal instructions for the City of Charlotte, North Carolina, for RFP 269-2026-1992 regarding the purchase of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The Charlotte Area Transit System seeks to procure a TPMS for its fixed route and paratransit operations to monitor and manage over 1,900 tires across two facility locations. The system must be user-friendly and provide accurate tire pressure data. All solicitation questions must be submitted electronically through the Bonfire procurement portal's Vendor Discussions section, and all bid submissions must be uploaded, submitted, and finalized through the portal prior to the posted deadline. The City recommends vendors allow at least one week prior to the submission deadline to complete the upload and finalization process, particularly for large documents.

Vendors must access the Bonfire procurement portal at https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com using Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. Technical support is available through Bonfire's help forum at https://vendorsupport.gobonfire.com/hc/en-us, via email at Support@GoBonfire.com, or by telephone at 1-800-354-8010. Vendors are encouraged to review Bonfire's five-minute training video on vendor registration and submission prior to participation. No submissions will be accessible to the City or competing vendors until the official submission closure date and time.
