About this file
This is a Conflict of Interest Questionnaire form required by the Texas Ethics Commission for vendors doing business with Williamson County, Texas, in connection with solicitation 25IFB79 for Limestone Rock Asphalt services. The form is mandated under Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code and must be completed by vendors who have specific business relationships with local government officers, including employment relationships resulting in taxable income exceeding $2,500, gifts totaling more than $100, or family relationships with local government officers. The questionnaire must be filed with the local governmental entity's records administrator within seven business days of when the vendor becomes aware of facts requiring disclosure, either when beginning contract discussions or submitting bids and proposals.
The form requires vendors to disclose detailed information about any employment or business relationships with local government officers or their family members, including whether taxable income is being received by either party and whether the vendor has given gifts to officers or their families. Vendors must also report any business relationships they maintain with corporations where local government officers serve as officers, directors, or hold ownership interests of one percent or more. Failure to comply with these disclosure requirements constitutes a misdemeanor offense under Texas law, emphasizing the serious legal obligations for transparency in local government contracting processes.
