About this file

This is an accessibility compliance attachment to a Request for Proposal issued by the University of Texas at Austin for Extended Education Ventures Instructional Design services. The attachment outlines the contractor's obligations regarding electronic and information resources (EIRs) accessibility requirements under Texas state regulations.

The contractor must warrant that all electronic and information resources, associated documentation, and support provided to the University comply with applicable requirements in 1 TAC Chapter 213 and 1 TAC 206.70, as referenced in Texas Government Code Subchapter M, Chapter 2054. Should the contractor become aware that the EIRs do not comply with accessibility standards, the contractor must remediate the deficiencies at no cost to the University or replace the non-compliant EIRs with accessible alternatives. If the contractor fails or is unable to achieve compliance, the University may terminate the Agreement, and the contractor must refund all payments made by the University within thirty days of termination. Additionally, the contractor must provide full assistance and cooperation for accessibility testing, planning, and execution criteria as conducted by the University or its designated third-party testing resources, as required by 1 TAC 213.38(g).
