Summary of IFB 2-26IFB017 for Physicals, Alcohol and Drug Testing

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) document is issued by the Austin Independent School District (AISD) in Texas for the procurement of occupational health services. AISD seeks qualified vendors to provide pre-employment and continuing employment physical examinations, pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing and screening services, and occupational health surveillance services on an as-needed basis. The contract will serve the District's human resources and safety compliance needs across its operations. No specific item quantities are detailed in the available documentation, as services are to be provided on an as-needed basis. The IFB establishes bidding procedures and evaluation criteria for interested firms to submit proposals for consideration.

Pricing for services will be determined through the competitive bidding process, with vendors expected to provide rate schedules and fee structures for the various services requested. The contract represents a continuation or replacement of existing occupational health service arrangements for the District. Firms responding to this IFB must demonstrate experience and qualifications in providing these specific occupational health services to educational institutions or similarly sized organizations. The terms and conditions of award, including contract duration and any renewal provisions, will be established following vendor selection based on bid evaluation and District approval.
