It is critically important that the Applicator plan, coordinate and conduct the work in a timely manner so that delays are minimized.

a. The Contractor shall prepare and submit a detailed implementation plan and work scheduled in accordance with Section 1.04.B.

i. Work times for activities inside pipe shall typically be 12-hours per day, seven days a week..

NTMWD may require longer shifts for emergency repairs.

ii. These work times do not apply to specified activities requiring continuous monitoring (bypass/ dewatering pumping operations, etc.), which shall be conducted 24 hours per day as needed.

b. For the work to proceed, the time required to perform the work must be less than the shutdown duration. NTMWD will estimate the allowable shutdown tolerance for each project and coordinate each installation with the contractor to verify sufficient time will be available to perform the work.

c. The contractor must sufficiently plan and prepare to perform the work expeditiously once the shutdown begins so that the work is completed without significant delays. The Contractor shall provide sufficient equipment and manpower to complete the work within the time allotted for each project.

d. Planned, non-emergency repairs will typically be performed during the following windows for each pipe type

i. Potable Water pipelines: November – April

ii. Critical potable water pipelines: January – February

iii. Raw water pipelines: TBD

iv. Wastewater Pipelines: TBD
