Insurance policies must be primary and non-contributory, include CCSD as an Additional Insured where applicable, and provide at least 30 days' advance written notice of cancellation or material changes (10 days for non-payment cancellations). Certificates of Insurance must be provided to CCSD in a form satisfactory to the district prior to contract performance.

Additionally, all contractors must maintain Cyber Liability/Data Breach Insurance covering both first-party and third-party liability with minimum limits of $3,000,000 per occurrence and aggregate to protect against data breaches caused by the contractor, its employees, agents, or contractors. Subcontractors must maintain equivalent insurance coverage for Professional Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, and Employers' Liability Insurance. The district reserves the right to require additional insurance limits based on proposal review. For claims-made coverage policies, contractors must maintain tail coverage for at least three years after contract completion and provide retroactive dates prior to the contract effective date.

(i) that the retroactive date of the policy be shown, and such date must be prior to the effective date of this contract;
(ii) the required insurance must be maintained, and evidence of insurance must be provided for at least three (3) years after completion of the contract (“tail coverage”);
