About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for Request for Quotes 19VE3026Q0004, addressing clarifications from potential offerors regarding submission requirements and technical specifications.

The Q&A clarifies that the price breakdown should be submitted as Section A. PRICE rather than a separate attachment. Technical questions address requirements for the visa ticket booth renovation project, including exterior wood restoration finishes (referencing Section 4.3 and Section 5 of the RFQ), computer tower base installations and cable management devices (Section 4.1), and countertop material specifications (Section 4.1). The government confirmed that drawings, as-builts, and dimensional information are available in Section 5 on page 49 of the RFQ; however, no additional site visits or site pictures are available. The document confirms that locally manufactured materials are acceptable and that sub-contractor personnel may be replaced if necessary. Regarding contract performance, the 60-day period of performance is fixed and non-negotiable and includes time for as-built drawings. Prime contractors may utilize locally licensed subcontractors provided they retain full responsibility for contract performance.
