19UK5620Q0043 – Provision of Motor Vehicles

Questions and Answers

No Question Answer

Line Item 4- 14/15 seater passenger mini bus.

Are you referring to a 15 Passenger van?

We require a mini bus which seats either 14 passengers plus a driver or 15 passengers plus a driver. For example a Ford Transit minibus (L3) or its technical equivalent as per FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999)

Line Item 5 – Large Panel Sided Van. – do you require a Cargo Van or a Box Van?

We require a large van with paneled sides for cargo for example a Ford Transit Hightop or its technical equivalent as per 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999)

Line Item 7 and 8 – Transit Van – are these Cargo vans? Or 250’s?

We require two different types of transit vans as per the specification:

• Type one example: a Ford Connect or its technical equivalent as per 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999)

• Type two example: a Ford Transit or its technical equivalent as per 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (Aug 1999)

Please clarify the height of the Luton style van.

2250mm seems a bit short for a Luton style panel van, especially given the overall length stated and the fact that another couple of the van types have max 3000mm height. Please confirm if this was a typo and whether a taller luton style vehicle of around 3000mm would be acceptable.

Please see the attached amendment to the solicitation the height for the Luton style panel van should read not to exceed 3400mm high.

What information apart from prices do I need to include in my bid?

Section 3 on pages 26 and 27 of the solicitation document outlines all the information which must be provided along with your prices. All requested information must be provided for the bid to be properly assessed for technical acceptability.

If you are from a country with an international agreement or tax treaty with the United States, please ensure 52.229-11 is completed and W-14 is submitted with your offer.

Do I have to be registered in SAM and how do I register?
