About this file
This is a Solicitation Document (RFQ) for replacing intercommunication systems at the U.S. Consulate General in Barcelona, Spain. The solicitation (No. 19SP1025Q0001) seeks a contractor to install two-way communication systems (microphone, speaker, control unit) at four consular windows, with work including removing existing equipment, testing new systems, and staff training. The contract will be a firm fixed-price type, with the government intending to award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
Proposals are due by June 6, 2025, at 15:00 hours Central European Summer Time, submitted via email as a PDF not exceeding 45MB. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and possess all necessary permits to do business in Spain. The project requires a one-year warranty, with installation staged to ensure existing intercom system performance is not degraded. A site visit for potential bidders will be offered during the bid submission period, and the contract may be awarded without further discussions based on initial offers.
