About this file
This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) issued by the U.S. Embassy in Dakar, Senegal for the procurement and delivery of commercial-grade playground equipment. The solicitation number is 19SG2026Q0010, issued May 19, 2026, with quotations due by June 29, 2026 at 12:00 noon local time. The Government intends to award a contract to the lowest-priced, acceptable, responsible quoter based on initial quotations without discussions, though discussions may be held with companies in the competitive range if necessary.
The scope requires supply and delivery of two complete commercial-grade playground equipment sets: one optimized for children ages 2–5 years (minimum five distinct play activities, 12-child capacity, 23 ft × 21 ft safety zone) and one for ages 5–12 years (minimum 26 distinct play activities, 68-child capacity, 51 ft × 52 ft safety zone). Both sets must comply with ASTM F1487 standards or equivalent, include aluminum or corrosion-resistant materials, UV-stabilized and lead-free components, and be resistant to salt spray and humidity suitable for coastal environments. The contractor must provide primary structures, hardware, assembly instructions, maintenance manuals, safety documentation, and a spare parts list. Deliverables must be packaged to prevent damage during international shipment and delivered within 120 days of contract award to SUVI, LLC in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The contract is firm-fixed-price, excludes VAT (U.S. Embassy tax-exempt status), and does not include site preparation, safety surfacing, foundations, or physical installation. Quoters must be registered in SAM prior to submission, provide proof of SAM registration, complete SF-1449 form, and submit one technical and one financial quotation electronically to dakarsolicitation@state.gov. Questions must be submitted in English by June 18, 2026. This procurement is unrestricted, set aside for small business (HUBZone), and the contracting officer is Laurel Lemon (+221 33 879 4000).
