About this file
This document is a response to questions received during a site visit for RFQ 19NZ9524Q0013 for the purchase of office furniture for the U.S. Embassy in Wellington. The key details are:
The existing furniture will be removed prior to installation. Office chairs are not included in the scope of this project. Cabinets do not need to be flush with the ceiling, but gaps should be minimized. The government prefers a contemporary look with light wood colors, and offerors are encouraged to suggest appropriate color schemes. The existing flooring will remain. 3D renderings are optional. Desk USB ports are not required but are acceptable. The target installation date is mid-June with a desired turnaround time of approximately three days. Furniture can be delivered through the north or south entrances, and cables and electrical supply can be run through the ceiling.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for office furniture for the U.S. Embassy in Wellington, with a firm-fixed price purchase order. The government will consider all labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation necessary to deliver the required items.
