About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Solicitation 19J01026Q0014 issued by the American Embassy in Amman, Jordan, effective July 19, 2026, with an extended response deadline of August 10, 2026 at 4:00 PM local time. Quotations must be submitted by email to AmmanRFQ@state.gov.
The amendment revises the Statement of Work requirements for public opinion research services and updates the pricing table structure. The U.S. Embassy seeks a credible public opinion research entity to assess Jordanian public opinion on topics of bilateral interest through a comprehensive research program combining quantitative surveys and qualitative focus group discussions. The contractor must conduct two nationally representative public opinion surveys with a minimum of 1,800 respondents each and four focus group discussions in Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, and Aqaba. Each survey cycle must be completed within two months, including data collection, analysis, reporting, and associated focus group discussions. The pricing table was amended to establish two line items: Line Item 01 for conducting the large-scale surveys (quantity 2, priced as Lump Sum) and Line Item 02 for conducting four focus group discussions (quantity 4, priced as Lump Sum), with pricing in Jordanian Dinar. The amendment also expanded Section 3-A.2 qualification requirements to include ten specific areas of evaluation: company experience and organizational capacity, technical approach and methodology, understanding of requirements, relevant experience from the past three years, personnel qualifications, work plan and quality assurance procedures, analytical capability with sample reports, media dissemination experience, available resources, and business information including evidence of an established or soon-to-be-established business in Jordan, active SAM registration with UEI, and required licenses and permits.
