About this file
This is an Amendment of Solicitation (Amendment 0001) issued by the American Embassy Georgetown on behalf of solicitation 19GY2026R0001, with an effective date to be determined. The amendment updates requirements for what appears to be a catered event (J4 26 Event) and extends the proposal submission deadline to Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 A.M. local time. Revised proposals must be submitted electronically to GeorgetownGSOProcurementDL@state.gov with the subject line "Revised Offer Enclosed – 19GY2026R0001 – Amendment 0001."
The amendment clarifies three key requirements: (1) Corkage Fees – The U.S. Embassy will pay all corkage fees directly to The Four Points by Sheraton Georgetown, and offerors must not include these fees in proposals but must provide all glassware, bar service materials, and sufficient trained bar service staff at no additional cost under Event Staffing; (2) Food Tasting – A menu tasting event will be conducted prior to contract award at the contractor's expense, with no additional government payment; and (3) Vendor-Supplied Beverages – A detailed drinks list for the J4 26 Event specifies quantities required, including 120 bottles of Banks beer, 80 bottles of Shandy, and various sodas, juices, and waters in specified quantities (cans, bottles, or gallons). The contractor's proposal costs must include all food tasting, glassware, bar materials, and staffing expenses within the Event Staffing line item.
