About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Legal Consultation Services solicitation for the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece, dated May 9, 2025. The Q&A addresses several key administrative and procedural clarifications for potential offerors, including SAM registration requirements (mandatory for quotations over $30,000), insurance obligations (compliance with Greek insurance laws), and proposal submission details. Notably, the document confirms that offerors may submit either a single flat hourly rate or tiered rates based on legal personnel seniority, and can submit the SF-1449 form with a scanned wet ink signature. The solicitation covers legal services related to employment, labor, and social security issues, with the embassy emphasizing that all responsible firms meeting the stated criteria are eligible to submit a proposal. The submission deadline will not be extended, as explicitly stated in the document.
