Questions and Answers

Q.1 In attachment 6 welcome/departure kit. Is the total number of individual items needed simply a cumulative of the numbers in each row of the heading "bed combinations"? If not, can you please provide an itemized list with quantities needed.

A1. The bed linen is based on one set per occupant and type of bed each residence has, therefore this is subject to actual needs. Bath Towels are a minimum of 2 per occupant. The Kitchen Loaner Kit is based on a minimum per family size, for example cell showing, 1+2 equals 3 occupants and quantity to be delivered is shown in the corresponding item row of attachment 6.

Q2. Within the performance of work in the "19GE5024R0069 PDF" its states that sustainability is a priority. Does this mean that sustainability takes priority over price? I ask this because it possible to get a better deal on needed furniture from our suppliers in Turkey. However, transportation of items from our suppliers to Spain/Portugal would be less sustainable that sourcing locally.

Sourcing locally would be pricier.

A2. No, sustainability will not take priority over price. However, proposals must include the offeror's sustainability plan in sourcing, servicing, and maintaining their items.
