Questions And Answers

Nuclear Energy Consulting for the US Embassy in Prague, Czech Republic

Solicitation 19GE5024R0014 Amendment 0002

Q4. Is it possible to apply without having finalized the registration? Or are you familiar if there are any chances the deadline will be extended?

A4. The SAM registration shall be completed by the time of award. Without an active SAM registration, an offer is not eligible for award.

Q5. Technical Offer - Past Performance: I will describe my experience related to the Scope of Work which I performed in my time in my previous job and I can obtain letters of recommendations which can confirm my past performance relevant to the Scope of Work.

Will this be relevant although it will not include contracts examples, as asked by Addendum 2?

A5. In addition to your relevant experience backed by letters of recommendation, in your Past Performance submittal, you should include the magnitude of the projects that you have worked on.

Q6. Price Proposal: The Simplified acquisition Threshold of $250K is referred to the total price for base and options years, cumulated, or only for the base year. I am asking because I saw that for amounts exceeding this amount it is needed a Recruiting and Housing Plan.

And for amounts exceeding $550K is also needed a Compliance plan. Are these amounts considered for the base year or the total amounts for the base cumulated with option years.

A6. The threshold refers to the total contract period, including the base year plus all option years.

Q7. Representation & Certifications - do I need to extract Section K from the attached document (pages 34-54) and complete it or there is another addendum for this requirement?

A7. An extraction of Section K shall be filled in and included in the proposal package.
