Questions and Answers (Q&A)

RPSO has received the following five (5) questions (Q), and is hereby providing the following answers (A).

1. Q: Company X is a broker. The product we sent to you earlier with our presentation has been developed by Company X, together with Company Y (insurance company), and exclusive to

Company X clients. Could you please advise how we can respond to this Solicitation correctly?

Should it be Company Y submitting and Company X appear as part of the management plan/team?

A: The company submitting the proposal (the company which has completed and signed the

SF449 and provided their DUNS number and in which name the SAM registration is), will be considered as the contractor.

The contractor may work with a sub-contractor on this contract.

See also Section 3, Sub section B.d. : List of Subcontractors (if applicable) – Provide a list of sub-contractors and indicating what portions of the work will be performed by them.

2. Q: Would it be possible to have dates of birth on the Pricing Schedule? Health insurance works with individual, all limits and benefits apply to each individual insured and, to ascertain the risk correctly, we need dates of birth as opposed to ages as health plans normally accept.

A: Please see updated Employee statistic attached. Due to PII reasons, we feel that it is best to only provide the year of birth of our members and their dependents.

3. Q: Please provide Exhibit A - employees statistic as an excel file.

A: Please see attached.

4. Q: Please provide any reference/minimum amount, for each coverage.

A: Please note that we do not have a cost range or minimum levels to provide for the medical aid benefits. In the SOW we provided the maximum levels of medical service that GTM/OE permits. Further, we cannot know the minimums nor how many members might not seek that service. It’s up to the vendor to determine the levels and maximums are more in line with a health care contract.

5. Q: As per your numbers, total group equals 1,768 lives, whereas if we consider all entries on the

Pricing Schedule there are 1978 lives, a difference of 210 lives.

Should we leave estimated number of lives as 447 employees, 351 spouses and 970 children?

210 lives matter for the calculation of premiums.

A: Please consider the following current numbers of lives and the respective members :

Total Principal Members 446

Total Adult Dependents 347

Total Child Dependents 965

Total 1757
