INDUSTRY DAY QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
DATE: 20 JUNE 2023
Q1) Do all projects require TOP SECRET clearance across the board?
A1) No, not all projects require TOP SECRET clearance, but there is a potential TOP SECRET need with every order placed.
Q2) We currently do not have cleared labor for water work. We use water experts who are foreign citizens. What do you recommend?
A2) Consider finding a teaming partner who does have cleared USA labor.
Q3) Can you please expand upon the duration of the contract being base one-years + 12 one-month options?
The intent of this solicitation is to make an award for a base period of 12 months in duration, and a single option period for an additional 12-month period in duration.
Q4) Most of the awards at the State Department are for longer duration than 2 years in total, why is this different.
A4) This is an internal management decision.
Q5) Can you forecast how many tasks may be performed simultaneously?
A5) We anticipate between 5 and 10 tasks ongoing at any given time depending on how quickly a vendor can deploy and adapt to completing projects. Scalability will likely depend on communication and partnering with one another. We anticipate the start up will start off at a slower pace.
Q6) Will the Government please provide a list of Industry Day attendees?
A6) No, the Government will not supply a list of Industry Day attendees.
