Question-4: Manifolds Material of Manifold not Specified can we make it with PVC Pipes or SS 304 Ring Type Manifold ??

Incase of Separate nozzles pumps don't need the Manifold which is : - indigenous make Answer-4: The manifold is going to be inside the cement mortar so will prefer C class CPVC pipes of leading brands like Astral / Prince.

Question-5: PVC Pipes & Fittings & valves : For Filtration & Jets Makes of Pvc Pipe and Fittings not Mentioned Can we go with the : - Astral / Supreme / Prince / Finolex / APL Apollo Puddle Flanges is also in SS 304 Grades for connecting the Pvc Lines in the water body to out the water lines which is : - indigenous make and in Schedule 40 & 80 has uPVC pipes availble not Pvc Pipes so . we will consider this as uPVC pipes not PVC

Answer-5: Acceptable.

Answer-3: Please stick to the original design standards. If anything is not reflected in the BOQ, please add that and share your BOQ along with your bid. SOW calls for submission of bids for both the options - with plumbing and plumbing less. If contractor is going for an equivalent Indian brand (Crompton/Shakti etc) a coparison of equivalent specification and performance needs to be provided.

Question-2: JUNCTION BOX Can we replace it with PVC / ABS instead of Bronze Answer-2: No, please stick to the SOW design specifications.

Question & Answer Form Solicitation No.191N6526Q0013 Title: Provide services for supply, installation and commissioning of fountains

Date: 20 January 2026

Question-1: Nozzles Can we go through with the Stainless steel 304/316 instead of Bronze difference also mentioned below of Bronze and stainless steel

Bronze and stainless steel differ primarily in composition, with bronze being a copper alloy (usually with tin) offering high corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, while stainless steel is an iron-carbon alloy with chromium, offering superior strength, hardness, and rust resistance

• Strength & Durability: Stainless steel is significantly stronger, harder, and more abrasion-resistant. Bronze is softer, more ductile, and better at handling lower temperatures.

• Maintenance & Cost: Bronze requires more maintenance to prevent tarnishing. Stainless steel is lower maintenance and generally more cost-effective.

Nozzles Outlet will not be the Same but instead of 15.9mm it will be 16mm and instead of 25mm it will be 25-28mm maxx and for 38mm it will be 38-40 maxx outlet

Make : - China ( same quality of Crystal Fountain or OASE Germany )

Answer-1: Stainless steel nozzels are acceptable but the design & other speficications of nozzels should be as per SOW specifications.

Question-3: PUMPS If we go through the each nozzle separate pumps in that case do we needed extra pumps with all pumps or not or can we take maxx 4-5 pumps as standby in spare .

If we are using each nozzles separate pumps : - so for that we need to take openwell Submerisble Pumps can we go with that also Make of Pumps also we mentioned Below Kindly approved the Makes also which is : - Crompton / Kirlosker / Lubi / Texmo / Shakti

OPTION - II

If we go through the submersible pumps instead of Self Priming Pumps for Jets Only without each nozzles seperate pumps in that case we do not need 17 Pumps in that case we can take 02 pumps for 12Nozzles as DP -1 (1 working & 1 Standby )

DP -2

02 Pumps for 04 Nos of Jets (1 working & 1 Standby ) 02 Pumps for 01 No. Centre Jet (1 working & 1 Standby )

Please Note : - If we use the Pumps for Inner jets 04+01 nozzles as mentioned in BOQ we need to use Solenoide Valves to operate with Single Pumps which is not mentioned in list of BOQ it effect PLC panel costing and component costing & wiring also , so please clear it , and which is not appropriate for better performance of centre jet

Piping Cost will increase because of all manifold has a seperate lines - Delivery Lines - Suction line for pumps - Filtration Pump Suction

Note: Contractors are advised to submit cut sheets of all the products which they are cosidering in their bid for evaluation.

Question-16: Confirm suction and delivery manifold material Answer-16: CPVC pipes of Astral / Prince or equivalent brands.

Question-17: Confirm 3 Phase power supply with earthing shall be provided by client near fountain control panel Answer-17: 3 Phase supply with earthing will be provided by Embassy at one point and contractor is liable to distribute it further for work.

Contractor is also expected to use similar standard wiring for permanent and temporary wiring during project phase.

Question-13: Confirm Water disinfection system to be used Answer-13: Water filteration system is required as per standards.

Question-14: Confirm soft water inlet with control valve in client scope Answer-14: Yes, upto pumproom.

Question-15: Confirm drain out pipe with control valve in client scope

Answer-15: Drain out pipe is in contractors scope.

Question-10: Filtration System Maintenance Kit not mentioned in the List of BOQ , UV , SALT CHLORINATOR , filtration nozzles Answer-10: We requested additiional spares - 10%.

Question-11: Stand by pumps required or not please confirm Answer-11: Standby pumps are required.

Question-12: Please confirm total no of lights required Answer-12: Provided in the SOW and design drawings. 10% extra as spares to be considered.

Question-7: Date of Submission Need to be extended till 10th of Feb due to some item rates are not available in the market due to it will little delay to get actual cost of the product and to quote

Answer-7: End date for submission of offer extended.

Question-8: LED Lights LED Lights Also we suggest same quality but not same wattage available : - it's available in 32W instead of 30watt and voltage is ok with 24v or 12v Make : - China ( Same Quality of OASE Germany OR Crystal Fountain ) RGBW

Answer-8: This comes under equivalent and will be dealt accordingly. A decision cannot be provide at this moment. We need to review and discuss with the desinger on any such proposal.

Question-9: Design of Water Body also need to be approved due to all the things pending Like there are two type's we can make this water body : -first is coverd In this case Jet nozzles , pumps , manifold , wiring , and piping are also invisible only the lights will visible on the floor of water body and water body hold 6"- 8" water level above the false floor casted level in that case if we use subersible pumps it'll not visible

OPTION - 2

We can use sumps only for the submersible pumps only in that case manifold , Led Lights , Nozzles , Filtration Nozzles & wiring will visible only the pumps are invisible

OPTION - 3

visible all the items will be installed in the water body Like : - Pumps , Nozzles , Led Lights , Wiring , Filtration Nozzles , Jet Nozzles Answer-9: This is a time bound project, we would advise to stick to the original SOW design specifications as much as possible and bid.

Question-6: Programming : - Separate pumps has better performance effect instead of Single pumps , so it's we suggest to use separate pumps for separate nozzles which is long life and reduces piping cost and maintenance cost also or OPTION - 2 Submersible pumps 01 No. for 12 Nozzles in the water body Submerible Pump 01No for 04 Nozzles in the water body Submerisble Pump01 No for 1 Centre jet Nozzles in the water body

Software is given in the BOQ is Daslights which is not workable so can we consider it with Indian make software due to easy maintanance as we are using with other fountains also products will be the German and US make but the software is Indian make due to its easy maintenance point and ready to available

If we has to Use Daslight sofware we need to make panle from Crystal Fountain which is not applicable for maintenance point and if after installtion we face the issue regarding programming too much cost also involve also to make it rectify it.

Answer-6: Per SOW and discussion held at the time of the walkthrough two options were discussed and contractors are advised to submit bids for both the options - with priming pumps and with submersible pumps.

As far substitution or equivalent is concerned, vendor has to prove that proposed product is equivalent by providing a specifications/features comparative chart between brand/specifications mentioned in SOW and one proposed by vendor.

Question-25: Is control enclosure air conditioning unit as mentioned in (b) under power and control system required?

Answer-25: This is as per requirement of the system. If required, USG will provide and install split pack.

Question-22: What is the performance duration of activity, as defined in (e) of control system summary, during the entire run of fountain?

Answer-22: The VFD should be designed adjustable for the duration of 2 to 8 minutes.

Question-23: What kind of water proofing is required?

Answer-23: The waterproofing materials should be “CIM 1000 Liquid Urethane" or equivalent.

Question-24: How many spares to be provided extra and for which items?

Answer-24: 10% spares for nozzels and submersible pumps

Question-19: LATEST TECHNOLOGY PLUMBING LESS SYSTEM (FEW ADVANTAGES) Virtually no pipe works needed.

Low power consumption as power is consumed according the height of water jet, otherwise pump will be in rest mode when there is no water jet. 0 consumption in rest mode.

Huge savings of up to 40% compared to using a huge dry pump.

Minimal loss as there is shorter/thinner pipe size from pump to nozzle.

Each Nozzle is individually controlled.

Water Jets can be preset to different heights, allowing infinite possibilities of variety and patterns.

No requirement for pumps in pump room as fountain equipment are all based in the pool basin, creating a underwater fountain system. Results in savings in structural costs and possibilities of converting extra space for other use.

Please confrim can we use plumbing less system from Oase Germany.

Answer-19: Thanks for sharing but kindly stick to the original SOW specifications/requirements.

Question-20: Please confirm can we use control panel of below shared specification:

EC 61439 is the international standard for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, governing the design, manufacture, and verification of electrical panels. Replacing IEC 60439, it mandates rigorous design verification—through testing, comparison, or assessment—to ensure safety, reliability, and performance regarding temperature rise, short-circuit withstand, and IP protection.

Key Aspects of IEC 61439:

Scope: Covers distribution boards, industrial panels, and low-voltage main distribution systems.

Verification Methods: Replaces "type-tested" (TTA) with three methods: testing, strict comparison to a reference design, or assessment/calculation.

Key Requirements: Ensures structural integrity, proper temperature rise limits, and effective short-circuit protection.

Structure: Comprised of a general rules part (Part 1) and specific product parts (e.g., Part 2 for power switchgear, Part 3 for distribution boards).

Responsibility: Defines clear roles for the "original manufacturer" (design owner) and the "assembly manufacturer" (builder).

This standard ensures that electrical assemblies are safe for personnel and reliable under operational conditions.

Answer-20: Kindly stick to the original SOW specifications/requirements.

Question-21: Is UL listed panel fabricated in Non-listed UL facility acceptable?

Answer-21: No.

Question-18: CONVENTIONAL PLUMBING SYSTEM (FEW DISADVANTAGES) With conventional system total electrical load consumption is 11.5 Kw.

Requires huge pipes to supply water from pump room to nozzles in pool via manifold.

Pump is constantly switched on at 100% power during fountain show.

Needs provision to start up pump and generally 3-4 times the operating power of the pump.

More losses due to huge/many water pipes.

Nozzles are not individually controlled.

Water Jets can only be on/off by used of solenoid valves.

Not many water jets patterns possible.

Big pump room needed to house dry pumps.

Additional construction costs and wastage of space.

Answer-18: Thanks for sharing but kindly stick to the original SOW specifications/requirements.
