Questions and Answers
Q:
Is there a plan for Snow Days for the Mobile DRCs?
A:
The following language will be added to the Statement of Work in regards to Snow Days and/or Adverse Weather conditions for the Mobile DRCs:
“The Government will attempt to provide the contractor with a minimum of 6 hour notice for cancellation prior to reporting for scheduled post time, in the event that the Mobile DRCs are closed for normal business operations due to snow or adverse weather conditions. If the circumstances do not allow, or the Government is unable to provide a minimum 6 hour notice, the contractor will be allowed to invoice for up to 2 hours under the fixed hourly rate for the calendar day. The contractor will not be allowed to invoice for any amount over 2 hours on any calendar day that the Mobile DRC has been closed due to snow or adverse weather conditions. Cancellation notices from the Government can be written, or verbal, followed by a written post/task order.”
