About this file
This is a bid addendum issued by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Purchasing and Logistics for IFB #19-IFB-1380429686-HDE regarding Parks, Garden, and Orchards services at Fort Liberty. The addendum, dated December 11, 2024, provides clarifications and answers to bidder questions ahead of the bid opening date of December 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM ET. The document addresses key queries about pesticide/herbicide usage, which must comply with Department of Public Works (DPW) regulations at Fort Liberty, and vendors must contact DPW directly regarding approved treatments.
The addendum clarifies several scope-related items, including confirmation that there are no new construction sites in the region at this time, and that FMS Shop areas are not included in this IFB. It also specifies that initial cleanup work must be completed during the contracted period, with specific work days to be scheduled with the site POC. This appears to be the first addendum (01) to the original solicitation and provides important clarifications about the geographic scope and operational requirements of the contract.
