About this file
This is a Request for Bid Amendment #1 issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Purchasing Services for spitter tickets used in university parking lot ticket dispensers. The amendment addressed bidder questions, extended the bid due date to December 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM CST, and updated the itemized bid list. The procurement includes two primary ticket types: T2 spitter tickets (both printed and blank versions in two part numbers) and Skidata Model TK Unlimited spitter tickets (non-magnetic stripe, available in multiple paper stock options with various top coat specifications). Estimated quantities for each ticket type are referenced in Section 2.2 of the original RFP. The initial contract term runs from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, with four automatic one-year renewal options unless either party provides 60 calendar days' written notice of non-renewal. Written questions were due by December 7, 2018, and the bid opening was scheduled for December 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM CST local Madison time. Award determinations were to be made as soon as possible following the opening.
Pricing shall be quoted on a per-thousand basis and must include all charges for printing, setup, shipping, and handling with no additional charges permitted. Current prices per thousand range from $11.35 to $12.38. Bidders offering paper stock not on Skidata's standard specifications list must provide detailed product attribute information comparable to Skidata's specifications. The RFB prohibited contact with University employees except through the designated contract agent, Marty Rostermundt (marty.rostermundt@wisc.edu). Bidders were required to submit signed bid forms, bidder response sheets, specifications and brochures, itemized bid lists, vendor information sheets, and client reference lists. All related items from manufacturers' catalogs not specifically listed are available at specified discounts to be identified by bidders. Scans of ticket samples were provided for reference; physical samples were not available.
