About this file
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) document issued by Round Rock Independent School District in Texas seeking to establish supply agreements for non-warehouse plumbing supplies. The District is inviting multiple businesses, public or private organizations, and other entities to provide plumbing supplies required to support the District's maintenance operations, with products available for both in-store purchase and delivery. This solicitation replaces the expiring contract 21-032, which terminates on October 31, 2025, and all previously awarded vendors must submit new responses for consideration. The contract term runs from the date of award through October 31, 2030. No specific response deadline, bidder's conference, or site visit information is provided in this document.
The contract structure is established as Firm-Fixed Discount, with percentage discounts remaining constant throughout the contract term and based on current published catalogs. For orders totaling $500 or more, the District reserves the right to request quotes from multiple suppliers to establish the best price. Products must be new, unused, of current production, and in first class condition, delivered F.O.B. destination with freight prepaid during standard business hours (8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time), with provisions for emergency one-hour hotshot deliveries. Contractors must be authorized distributors or manufacturers and provide a minimum of the manufacturer's standard warranty. The District may terminate the contract with or without cause at any time and reserves the right to conduct vendor performance reviews throughout the contract period. Purchases will be made through purchase orders, blanket purchase orders, or District-issued procurement cards, with all deliveries requiring proper authorization documentation.
