About this file
This document contains questions for an industry day event regarding Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services for the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) at the Department of Labor. The questions cover topics such as the ability to meet the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, experience providing workers' compensation PBM services, integration with government systems, fraud and abuse detection, clinical programs, and pricing structure. The industry day is part of a pre-solicitation market research effort for a future contract opportunity. The summary of key details is as follows:
The questions cover the vendor's ability to meet the PWS requirements, including performance metrics, electronic referrals and reporting, national pharmacy network coverage, experience providing workers' compensation PBM services, IT system compliance, and implementation timeline. The questions also explore the vendor's ability to adjudicate prescriptions based on multiple cases and diagnoses, set cumulative dosage limits, provide prior authorization, customize NCPDP edits, and build stakeholder portals. Pricing-related questions focus on the "lesser of" guarantee, blocking of specific NDCs and GPIs, fraud and abuse identification tools, and the ability to provide manufacturer-derived revenue and real-time transaction data. The questions also cover quality assurance processes, core PBM services, clinical programs, payment methods, and data storage capabilities.
