16-247-SOL-00013 Teleradiology, HHCC Amendment 0002
Questions and Answers #2:
1. Q: Does the fact that we will be migrating to a new PACS in the next six months disqualify us from bidding, or make it unlikely that we will be considered for this contract?
A.: “No” as the reports are currently coming back to HHCC via text-based reports so for the current process there would really be no difference based upon whatever PACS they choose to implement.
2. Q: Is the Hopi Health Care Center currently being serviced by a telerad provider, or on sight radiologists? If telerad is currently being used, how long has the current provider been in place?
A: 2 Months
3. Q: There are four documents under Section G that need to be completed and returned to the government before interconnection to the federal system. Can I correctly assume that these need to be completed only by the successful bidder, and not to be sent in with the RFP?
A:The SF1449 has been added to the solicitation in Amendment 1. This shall be completely filled out with a price shown for teleradiology service for the base and option years.
Exhibit B-G is not required for RFQ submittals.

In accordance with Page 2, Paragraph 3. Training/certification (as required)...
The contractor shall:
a) Provide Quarterly Continuing Medical Education (CME) in-service to medical staff.
b) Provide in-service and training to the radiology technical staff to improve or enhance their services when deemed necessary by the Radiology Manager. This training will take place at the contractor's site or service unit to ensure continuity of practice, protocols and procedures.
4. Q: Is this training provided to the Radiology Staff working at the hospital?
A: Yes, Awardee will be required to provide this training to the staff.
5. Q: If that is the case, the training would be outside of the scope of work (e.g. interpreting the radiological studies), so would you add an additional CLIN to cover the cost of the training?
A: See Amendment 2 “Exhibit A-SF1449 (revised), Line 6 Training/Certification.
