Disability Management Portal

(DMP)

WELCOME TO DMP

The Disability Management Portal is a free, secure web portal which supports claims management through the US Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP).

DMP enables eligible users to view, assign and monitor cases identified for the Division of Federal Employees’ Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation (DFELHWC), Nurse Intervention, or Vocational Rehabilitation programs. Users manage case data and statuses via secure dashboards specific to their role.

DMP HOMEPAGE

DMP USER ROLES

Contract Management User (CMU): The CMU will use DMP to receive referrals, assign cases to designated Triage Nurses (TN), Field Nurses (FN) and Rehabilitation Counselors (RC) and monitor assigned cases. The CMU will also manage TN, FN and RC Profiles (and access) in DMP. The CMU will have separate log-ins for Nurse and Voc Rehab services

Triage Nurses/Field Nurses/Rehabilitation Counselors: The TN/FN/RC users will use DMP to view/access referrals and other case related documents, and to upload documents for communication and case-management.

OWCP Staff Nurse/Rehab Specialist: Once the CE makes the referral for nurse or rehab services, the assigned Staff Nurse and/or Rehabilitation Specialist will be the CMU’s primary OWCP contact for that case. The SN or RC will manage the case internally, using DMP to change case status as necessary, direct closure, and provide guidance to the CMU and contract Nurse/VR Counselors throughout the life of the case.
