QUESTION(S) DOL RESPONSE
1. Will DOL furnish the platform for the self-paced trainings? If so, which platform will be utilized?
Yes. The Government will provide Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex
2. Will the offeror be reimbursed for travel expenses related to the 11 in-person trainings? Reference Section 1.3 of the RFQ, Section 1 - Schedule of Prices
3. When is the contract expected to be awarded? The contract is expected to be awarded by 09/30/2024
4. What is the budget for this statement of work? This is proprietary information of the Government.
5. Will the offeror provide the same training for both the in-person sessions and self-paced sessions?
Yes
6. For the 1400 self-paced trainings, will it be the same training available to 1400 employees? Yes
7. For the 1400 self-paced trainings, are these expected to be recordings or merely training materials for employee access on a self-paced basis?
The Government expects the self-paced training session to be recorded and accessible at the employee's pace
8. What are the expectations for the online follow-up trainings post the in-person sessions?
The Government expects first “kick-off” sessions to be held in person at different DOL office locations. The online will be the same, just offered virtually.
9. How soon after the in-person sessions are the online follow-up sessions expected?
The Government and Contractor will coordinate a schedule upon contract award.
10. Would the DOL be open to an optional additional six-month period, if needed due to the scope of work?
Yes, if determined necessary by the Government, the following clause 52.217-8 will be exercised
11. Can the offeror provide more than one trainer for the in-person training, or is the same trainer expected for both the in-person training and follow-up sessions?
The Government prefers the same instructor for all in-person training. The follow up would not need an instructor, as employees could access online.
12. Will the DOL provide an extension of the response date to the RFQ to allow time to respond to the answers to these questions?
An extension will be granted until 12:00 PM ED, 09/16/2024.
13. I see that the government agrees to provide an in-person meeting space for the Frances Perkins Building, but will the government provide an in-person meeting space for the training at the DOL Boston Office, New York Office, Philadelphia Office, Atlanta Office, Chicago Office, Kansas City Office, Dalla Office, Denver Office, San
Francisco Office, Seattle Office? If not, will the government provide the POCs for each office to help coordinate venues, materials, and other necessary equipment?
Yes, we will provide points of contact for each office, help coordinate venues, materials and any other necessary equipment.
14. What does the 1400 number of units represent for the self-paced training session?
1,400 is roughly the number of employees we would like to have trained.1,400 is approximately 10% of the DOL workforce.
