About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the installation of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) at Buildings 2000 and 2007 of Headquarters 16 AF (Air Forces Cyber) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The SOW requires the contractor to provide all equipment, components, and labor for the site-specific installation and repair of the IDS, which must comply with IC Tech Spec for ICD/ICS 705 and be on the Non-nuclear Configuration Management Database (CMD) Equipment Approval List. The IDS must be capable of integration with the 802 Security Forces Squadron's Base Defense Operations Center for monitoring and alarm response. The contractor must coordinate the installation timeline with the 16 AF Project Manager and provide warranties, documentation, and training. The related federal contract opportunity is a market research request for information (RFI) to identify contractors capable of providing the IDS and associated Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) services per the attached SOW. The RFI is voluntary and not a request for quote.
