VEHICLE TOWING, STORAGE, MAINTENANCE & DISPOSAL SERVICES

NORTHERN, MIDDLE AND SOUTHERN DISTRICTS OF FLORIDA, AND DISTRICT OF VIRGIN ISLANDS

SOLICITATION NO.: 15M50021QA4400001

1. The vehicles that are currently stored in states other than Florida, will those vehicles be stored in Orlando or Miami?

• Those vehicles will be stored in Orlando or will continue on a case-by-case basis to be stored out of state with other districts.

2. The 4 large items in the Virgin Islands, approximately how much square footage do those items occupy; and do you project the need for more storage space in the future?

• Currently there are only 4 standard vehicles in VI that would require management under this contract, none of which would require indoor storage. Under the pricing schedule we estimate a certain number of indoor and outdoor vehicles which you would need to accommodate for in the associated years.

3. The SOW for the subject RFQ lists a storage area in N/FL, AL, AR, MS, & TN currently.

However, Page 3 of 20, paragraph 3a does not require a storage area other than Southern Florida, Middle Florida, and the Virgin Islands. Further, the Pricing Schedule does not reflect the volume of vehicles stored in Montgomery, AL. Will any vehicles require transporting to another storage area from the Montgomery, AL storage site?

• Of the 50 vehicles stored out of state, 20 will stay in AL and the remaining 30 standard vehicles will be transferred to Orlando.

4. How many vehicles (by district) require indoor storage?

• FLS 24

• FLM 41

• VI 2

5. What are the year, make and model of large vehicles stored at incumbent contractor facility?

• The large vehicles assets current span a variety of different years and models. Most are semi tractors post 2000, some construction equipment to include cement mixers and other trailers are also included in the current asset count as well.

6. Would the government consider a facility more than 50 miles from North District Orlando?

• No, this radius is set for the convenience of the DAFCs and other Asset Forfeiture Staff managing the contract. Further distance would be less conducive to regular checks on vendor facility.
