About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal transportation services solicitation. The document clarifies key operational and submission requirements for the National Institute of Corrections transportation contract. Proposals must be submitted via email to bshrake@bop.gov by the offer due date. This is a recompete of the incumbent contract number 15BNAS20D00000069. The contractor must provide coach buses to transport 20 to 150 training participants per day to and from the National Corrections Academy located at 11900 East Cornell Avenue, Aurora, Colorado 80014. Service area extends approximately 30 miles round trip from the academy, with actual pickup and drop-off locations to be determined by the Contracting Officer's Representative. The contractor must provide appropriately sized vehicles based on group size, with small mini coaches for groups up to 21 passengers and large coaches for groups exceeding 21 passengers. Pricing should be submitted as a pre-round trip rate for each bus size specified in the Statement of Work rather than on a per-mile basis. Trip frequency and passenger numbers will vary based on training schedules and will be communicated to the vendor in advance for planning purposes.
