Healthcare Delivery Services

15BFA024R00000009

1. Can we obtain the demographics of the current reentrants, such as age, gender, health conditions, etc.?

➢ Demographics can be found on www.bop.gov for each facility. The top DRG’s and prescriptions has already been provided with this solicitation. No further demographics is available.

2. Will our company be providing the electronic medical records system in order to keep track of the reentrants' medical information, or is there a system that the BOP already uses?

➢ Your company would be responsible for requesting medical records from the providers and forwarding to the BOP electronically.

3. Will the company that is granted the contract get a list of current providers for continuity of care for the current reentrants, such as primary care physicians, specialists, pharmacies, etc.?

➢ No, the current network is made up of thousands of providers nationwide and is too large to compile. The BOP does not have a master list of these providers. The incumbent contractor controls this list.

4. Can we get a list of the current medication costs that the BOP pays, as it was redacted on the information that was provided in the emergency listing for Naphcare's approval?

➢ The attachment with the top 100 prescriptions and DRG’s has been provided. We cannot provide what the BOP is currently paying. You can find the award notice for the incumbent contract on sam.gov.

5. We would also like to know what the current turnover rate for reentrants to be released is, or how long, on average, will we need to provide medical services for the reentrants?

➢ Services are currently provided for a date range of months to up to 20 years.

6. Can you please provide the previous claim reports for the last 2 years?

➢ An attachment is provided with the solicitation with the top DRG's and prescriptions. Individual claim reports are not available.

7. Can you please provide me with information on what the medical, dental, and vision plans/services look like at this time? Do these individuals have medical insurance? Do they see local contracted providers? Do the individuals who are veterans go to the VA? Do some individuals utilize

Medicare/Medicaid?

➢ The AIC's use a medical network established by the current comprehensive medical contractor.

This network is not based on insurance. AIC's on home confinement can sign up for medicare and medicaid but are not required to by the BOP.

8. Attachment 6, Schedule of Services—
