About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract solicitation addressing small business subcontracting requirements.

The document contains a single Q&A clarifying the application of FAR 52.219-14 (the Limitation on Subcontracting clause) to an IDIQ services contract. The government confirmed that FAR 52.219-14 applies to this solicitation and specified that the prime contractor cannot pay more than 50 percent of the amount the government pays for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work further subcontracted by similarly situated entities counts toward the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract limitation threshold. The document notes that no additional questions submitted after this answer will be considered for response, indicating this Q&A closes the question period.
