FBOP seeks quotes from qualified vendors for supply and delivery of nine complete fire escape door assemblies comprising four left-hand outswing and five right-hand outswing units. Each assembly must measure 36" wide x 80" high x 2" thick and consist of hollow metal doors constructed from minimum 12-gauge galvanneal steel with ribbed, insulated mineral cores. The complete door assembly must achieve a 90-minute fire rating and comply with NFPA 80, NFPA 101, International Building Code (IBC), International Fire Code (IFC), OSHA exit route requirements, and UL 10C or NFPA 252 standards. Frames must be minimum 12-gauge galvanneal steel, fire-rated and labeled, either knock-down or welded depending on wall type, and factory-prepped for 80-series locks and panic hardware. All components must be U.L. Listed or labeled by recognized testing agencies acceptable to the Authority Having Jurisdiction. Hardware requirements include three UL-Listed steel ball bearing hinges per door, panic hardware operable with 15 pounds force or less, 80-series keyed locks with surface pulls, heavy-duty adjustable surface-mounted door closers, and smoke/draft control seals. Vendors must submit itemized pricing, proposed lead times, compliance confirmations, and product cut sheets. Deliveries to FCC Lompoc are accepted only between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, with Mr. Fernando Pena (FXPena@bop.gov, 805-735-2771) as the point of contact.
