About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation 15B61626Q00000002, addressing clarifications regarding equipment specifications and delivery logistics for the replacement of washers and dryers at FCC Victorville.

The Q&A clarifies critical specifications for the procurement: the equipment must use hard mount configuration in a tight space with dimensions that cannot exceed those specified in the Statement of Work, though 40lb capacity washers are acceptable if overall dimensions remain compliant. The government confirmed that submissions of industrial "equal or better" equipment meeting or exceeding functional and performance requirements are acceptable. Current equipment on site includes two Unimac dual stack dryers (Model UTT30EQTQ1G2W01) and two Speed Queen washers (Model SX035PVNM70001). The government requires two stacked dryer units totaling four drying cylinders. Delivery and billing address is 13777 Air Expressway Boulevard, Victorville, California 92394, with delivery to the outside warehouse requiring no special clearance or badges. The government will dispose of old units and will not have the delivery driver remove them. The Q&A responses confirm the dimensions provided in the SOW represent current equipment specifications and should be maintained closely due to limited space constraints, and that the solicitation dimensions are machine-only measurements reflecting the tight installation environment.
