About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing scheduling requirements for a Mobile Mammogram Services contract opportunity.
The requirement calls for approximately 40 sessions/hours per year, divided into five Mobile Mammogram Services visits consisting of eight one-hour sessions each, excluding Federal Holidays. These sessions will be scheduled throughout the April through September period of each fiscal year and are subject to modification based on agreement between the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and the awarded contractor, as well as institutional needs. Standard work hours are normally 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The contractor should note that hours may be adjusted to accommodate institutional requirements, and sessions are typically scheduled on a monthly basis between April and September. The clarification emphasizes that the 40 hours total will be distributed across the six-month period rather than constituting a full-time five-day-per-week commitment.

Q&A #1
Question:
I would like some clarification on the schedule. Is it truly a 5 day a week schedule April – September? Or is there a set amount of days in this time frame and we would divide it out throughout the 6 month period? Just trying to see availability?
Answer:
Good morning. Thank you for your inquiry.
This requirement is for approximately 40 sessions/hours per year. It will approximately be broken up into 5 (five) Mobile Mammogram Services at eight (1) hour sessions per visit excluding Federal Holidays but is subject to change based upon what the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and awarded contractor agrees upon and institution needs. Correct, the 40 sessions/hours will be divided throughout the approximately April - September of each fiscal year.
The Statement of Work (SOW) states the following:
The contractor will normally provide eight (1) hour sessions per day, 5 days per week, excluding Federal Holidays. Work hours will normally be between the hours of 7:30 a.m.
and 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. These hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. Sessions will typically be scheduled monthly between the months of April and September.
Let me know if you have additional questions or require further clarification. Thank you.
