About this file
This is a delivery schedule document detailing requirements for food service deliveries to the Federal Correctional Complex Butner in North Carolina. The document specifies that all awarded items must be delivered between January 20-31, 2025, with delivery hours of 7:30 am - 2:00 pm Monday through Friday.
The schedule outlines strict temperature and handling requirements: non-frozen perishables must be delivered between 34-40 degrees F, frozen foods at 0 degrees F or below, and all deliveries must be palletized unless otherwise arranged. Products showing signs of thawing will be refused. Additional requirements include proper marking of Certified Religious Diet Items and compliance with BOP National Menu Specifications. The document establishes a three-day conditional receipt period for inspection and testing, with vendors required to retrieve non-compliant items within two weeks of notification. Failure to meet delivery schedules or specifications will negatively impact contractor past performance and may result in removal from future solicitations.
