About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing inquiries regarding a cleaning services contract for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
The document clarifies three key requirements for the cleaning services solicitation. First, cleaning crew personnel are not required to obtain security clearance status; instead, ATF personnel will provide required escort services for all cleaning crew access to the facility. Second, the government prefers bi-weekly or monthly cleaning frequency rather than weekly service. Third, this contract is not a new requirement but a re-competition of an existing service. The incumbent vendor is Ayala Properties under Contract Number 15A00021CAQA00197, providing prospective bidders with baseline performance information and historical contract reference data.
