About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document addressing procurement inquiries regarding a parts purchase solicitation.
The document clarifies specific part numbers for multiple line items, including components for surveillance and networking equipment: line 32 (AK-848061023787), line 33 (DLHDV), and line 35 (01470-001, an Axis camera pole mount). For Milestone software support across lines 11-13, the required part numbers are XPPPLUSDL (device license), XPPPLUSBL (base license), and MCPL-XPPPLUSDL (five-year Care Plus device license). Most items in the procurement are brand-name required; only a limited number of items allow equivalent or equal alternatives. TAA compliance is required only for CLINs specifically identified as TAA compliant, not all items. Partial shipments are acceptable provided all items are received within 60 days of order receipt. For items marked "or equal," cabling must match the original specification in type, gauge, rating, and color; accessories must have the same size and functionality but may be from alternate manufacturers.
Additional clarifications address specific product mismatches: CLIN 00290 accepts either Samsung model (DU8000 or the listed part number UN55AU8000FXZA); CLIN 00580 requires part number 01471-001 for the 1450mm TX30 Mounting Strap; and CLIN 00520 requires the specific Cisco part number CABCON-USBRJ45. The agency handles Cisco registration and pricing support in-house. The acquisition is parts-only with no installation required. The solicitation covers six separate XProtect Plus systems with 28 XProtect Professional Plus device licenses distributed across the six systems (4, 4, 3, 12, 3, and 2 devices respectively). The government will accept the requested quantities of licenses and address additional Care Plus licenses through a separate procurement if needed.

Questions & Answers
1. Do you have part #s for lines 32 and 33?
A. The part number for line 32 is AK-848061023787, The part number for line 33 is DL-
HDV.
2. Line 35 does not have a part # or any description to identify which camera pole mount is required - can you provide more info?
A. The part number for line 35 is 01470-001. This is an Axis camera pole mount
(https://www.axis.com/products/axis-t91b57-pole-mount).
3. For Milestone lines 11,12, and 13 software support, can you kindly provide the systems SLC code?
A. Milestone XProtect Professional Plus device license; PN#: XPPPLUSDL B. Milestone XProtect Professional Plus base license; PN#: XPPPLUSBL C. Milestone five years Care Plus for XProtect Professional Plus device license: PN#:
MCPL-XPPPLUSDL
4. Are y'all open to equal or better alternatives? Or are all items requested brand name only?
A. Most items in this PR are brand-name required. The couple of items that are not are listed as allowing equivalent.
5. Please confirm whether TAA compliance is required only for the CLINs specifically identified as TAA compliant in the schedule, or for all quoted end products under the solicitation.
A. TAA compliance is only required for the CLINs specifically identified as TAA.
6. Please confirm whether partial shipments are acceptable, provided all items are delivered within 60 days after receipt of order, or if the Government requires one complete shipment.
A. Partial shipments are acceptable as long as all are received within 60 days of receipt of order.
7. For the CLINs that say “or equal,” are there any required salient characteristics, preferred manufacturers, or other minimum compatibility requirements we should use when evaluating alternates, particularly for cabling and accessories?
A. Cabling must be the same type, gauge, rating (temperature, water, etc.), and color. All accessories must have same size and functionality as part number that is listed, but other manufacturers are acceptable.
8. CLIN 00520 lists “Cisco Console Cable 6ft with RJ-45-to-RJ-45” but identifies PN CAB- CON-USBRJ45. Please confirm whether the Government requires the listed Cisco part number as written, or instead requires a separate 6-foot RJ-45-to-RJ-45 console cable.
A. The listed Cisco part number is what is required.
9. CLIN 00290 appears to contain a mismatch between the item description and the listed part number. The description identifies a Samsung DU8000 54.6" Smart LED-LCD TV, but the part number shown is UN55AU8000FXZA, which appears to correspond to a different Samsung model series. Please confirm which model and part number should govern for quoting purposes.
A. Either model will be acceptable.
10. CLIN 00580 also appears to contain a mismatch. The line identifies an AXIS TX30 Mounting Strap, but the listed part number is 01471-0001, which does not appear to align with the standard AXIS part numbering we found for that strap. Please confirm the correct part number that should be quoted for this item.
A. Part number 01471-001 is the correct part number for the 1450mm version of the TX30 Mounting Strap. CLIN 00580 appears to have a typo that added an extra “0”.
11. For Cisco pricing and ordering, our supplier is requesting the following for registration/pricing support: integrator company name and address, end user company name and address, and end user contact name, phone number, and email.
A. End user information can be provided prior to order, if needed.
12. The solicitation identifies the delivery location and solicitation point of contact, but we do not see a separate end user contact identified for this purpose. Please advise whether offerors may submit pricing without that Cisco end user contact information at quote stage, and whether the Government will provide that information prior to order if needed. If the agency is handling Cisco registration or pricing support in house, please confirm that as well.
A. The agency is handling Cisco registration and pricing support in house.
13. Can you confirm that this is a “Parts Only” purchase and no installation is required?”
A. Yes, this acquisition is for parts only.
14. Can you confirm that if a Part Number is listed and “or equal” is not included, it is a specific brand name/part number requirement?
A. Yes, all parts are specific brand name and part numbers that are required unless specified as “or equal”.
15. The solicitation calls for (6) XProtect Plus licenses. Does this mean six separate systems?
A. Yes
16. Also, for the (28) XProtect Professional Plus device licenses — should these be 28 licenses per system (totaling 168), or are they to be distributed across the six systems?
A. Distributed across the six systems as follows:
B. Base license 1 – 4 devices C. Base license 2 – 4 devices D. Base license 3 – 3 devices E. Base license 4 – 12 devices F. Base license 5 – 3 devices G. Base license 6 – 2 devices
17. Finally, the XProtect Five-Year Care packages will need to match the total number of devices being licensed.
A. This is understood. However, I don’t want to delay this procurement by changing quantities, so if we can get the requested number of licenses, we can work on getting the additional licenses in a separate procurement.
