About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment 0002) to a Request for Quote (RFQ) for gravel for the WY WGF Sand Mesa Road project issued by the Bureau of Reclamation. The amendment modifies the original solicitation by expanding the pick-up location radius from 25 to 30 miles from Riverton, Wyoming, and provides a response to an industry question confirming that 30 miles is the maximum distance the government will consider.

The solicitation seeks 1,486 tons of grading W road base, which consists of 1" minus fractured rock combined with dirt and sand. The procurement is set aside for small businesses and will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method. Key evaluation factors include the technical plan (specification sheets are mandatory), past performance, and pricing. Pick-up is anticipated between May and July 2025, with loading to be performed by the supplier into government vehicles during business hours. The government intends to make a single award and reserves the right to not make an award.
