Q&As
1. Will our crew be able to stay in the campground at the park? We travel with RV's for this kind of work so we ask prior to starng our bid.
The campgrounds are open to the general public and are open to reservaon through the Oklahoma State Parks at their set rate. No campsites are set aside for the contractors use.
2. Will there be a place to garrison equipment involved with the concern?
Storage of equipment can be within the designated areas to be cleared or coordinated with Fort Cobb State Park to use their locked maintenance yard.
3. Will each CLIN item be able to invoice for aer each CLIN compleon?
Invoices can be submited upon compleon and inspecon of each individual tract.
4. Will the Park's water/electric/ulies be of service during the project?
The Park's water/electric/ulies would be available with the rental of a campsite dependent upon the ulies available at that parcular campsite.
5. Do you have any Geo-referenced maps or shape files for the above-named project? If you do can you please send them to me?
Shapefiles will be provided to the contract awardee upon request.
6. Will the bureau have a designated wash off area selected for the contractor prior to starng the job?
No. Refer to the “Inspecon and Cleaning Manual for Equipment and Vehicles to Prevent the Spread of Invasive Species” for full details.
7. Will a safety plan and a fire prevenon plan need to be sent over with the bid packet? Or can that be submited when the awardee is selected? The reason I am asking this queson is my company is not a big company that has these procedures in place. I have started the process to obtain the plans for future jobs.
These are only required to be submited by the contract awardee.
8. Since this is for the base schedule pricing, and schedules 1 and 2 are not for sure. Will a bond be necessary if the total bid amount is over $100,000.00?
Offers will be considered for award based on the total sum of all the schedules, but no offer will be considered for award only part of the schedule(s). There is no bond requirement.
9. Can I please obtain the coordinates and shape files for this job?
Shapefiles will be provided to the contract awardee upon request.
10. Would you prefer to see a tracked machine or rubber re machine on this job?

11. What is the average size and densies of the Red Cedars to be mulched?
Please visit the site to determine this informaon. The work site is open to the public for site visits.
12. What sort of terrain are we looking at? Is it easily traversable?
