Site Visit Notes

9/30/2024 - 10/2/2024

The section of concrete walkway between shop and building may be increased near the door to prevent water from pooling on joint between asphalt and concrete from the overhang.

Concrete mix design was discussed for shop. (clarified in revised SOW per Amendment 2). The northern section of slab near the shop bathroom may be left intact if there is not a safety hazard.

Electrical outlets along North fence are not currently active. Primary electrical coming into the shop near the wash bay will need to be located.

Interested offerors are encouraged to review the solicitation closely.

Thickness requirement has been updated to 8" for shop and wash bay.

10/16/2024

Additional measurements were taken by interested offerors.

The grade drainage was discussed generally with focus aligning with the revised SOW for requirements next to the building for the new pad replacing the wash bay and the walkway. Grade for sidewalks could be included in the proposals but not required.

New information since initial site visits is that our electricians traced the electric service point on the SE corner of the shop that runs under the wash bay and discovered it is not an active line.
